Karoofelt
Karoofelt is a social enterprise that operates in the Karoo region of South Africa, a very rural region where unemployment rates are very high, especially for women. They teach the women the skills they need to crochet the children's products they make, such as the baby booties we carry. Karoofelt places a high priority on serving the women in their community, and also on sourcing local products, such as the wool yarn used for their baby booties.
